Early Childhood Education Juniors helped Mrs. Tieman host the most fun Winter Activity Day for our Head Start Preschoolers! It was a fun way to start Winter Break!

Our junior Cosmetology students have completed the nail program and are off to start cosmetology! Today they learned a simple roller set and got some hands on work in on the mannequins! #GCC #cosmetologist 💅💇‍♀️

A student from LAS lunging Betsy one of the horses in our barn after the long weekend! Lunging a horse serves multiple purposes, including training, exercise, building trust, and improving communication between horse and the handler.

Early Childhood Education and Grant Head Start took an On-Site Field Trip to the Vet Science Lab today to visit the animals. The preschoolers got to pet Molly the Collie, Chubs the Ferret, Burrow the Snake, Ophelia the Calico Cat, Doug the Bearded Dragon, and see Prickles the Hedgehog. Thanks to Mrs. Kline, Ms. Wagers and students for letting us come visit! It was a lot of fun!

Kenny Carter demonstrates angle cuts on a mitre saw. Students will utilize these skills to build their Christmas tree projects.

Early Childhood Education Students hosted their local Educators Rising Competition today. They have been working very hard to prepare for this competition to receive feedback for the State in March.
